This was our very first Caravan holiday with our caravan in August, 2 adults and 1 teenager. The site was easy to find with very helpful friendly staff. The site was immaculately clean. Upon arrival we went to reception and paid and then entered through the barrier to choose our pitch, once we choses our pitch, you go back to reception to get your barrier pass card for leaving and entering the site. When the office was closed there was always a detailed sign on the door stating where to find the staff. We stayed on pitch 53 which was in a shaded area under some trees which was perfect for us as didn't want to be in direct sun, but there were plenty of sunny spots to choose from aswell. The site was full but very quiet. Paid £2.50 per day for our son to have wifi which to be honest wasn't the best of signals and kept cutting out, also the tv reception for BBC channels was a bit hit and miss but other channels were fine. Cheddar gorge was in walking distance and so was tesco express and sainsbury's. Went to Wookey Hole by car. Fish & Chip Shop was in walking distance. The site facilities were all clearly marked. We would not hesitate to return here, all in all a very good experience for us first timers.
