We are staying at a campsite in charmouth dorset and travelled a 100 mile round trip to view the site only to be met by a very unhelpful cleaner called pauline who was very agressive after I used a toilet my husband told her we had travelled a long way but she was still very agressive she has now lost the site a 2 wk Aug booking for next year although having seen the site it was not up to standard of caravan club very tightly packed and the service block was in need of updating. The access is via one way track and if 2 vehicles came at same time would have been a problem. Cheddar itself is a nightmare to get into the traffic was horrendous and walking from the site would have been very dangerous. We were very dissapointed and it was a long way to go to be met with such a lack of understanding by the staff member it was completely uncalled for and I'm pleased to say the woodfarm in dorset where we arw staying is a much nicer place to stay it's affiliated to the caravan club and could show cheddar how to treat customers the staff and services are of the highest quality
