Just returned from a 4 night stay at Cheddar, our first to this site. The site is ideal for exploring the Mendips, it is a perfect size for us, being not too big. Cheddar village itself is a short walk away and the gorge is within a 15 minute walk. Fantastic butchers shop in Cheddar village too. The site facilities are excellent, they were clean and everything worked. The only negative (and I`m being picky here...) is the size of the dish-wash area, it`s a bit snug. The wardens were very friendly and helpful and the site was always kept immaculate. Wells is definitely worth a visit, as is Glastonbury. We will visit this lovely little site again!
