We stayed here for 4 nights during the October half term holiday. We were late arriving but the wardens kindly called us to let us know that all our keys etc had been left on a noticeboard by reception for us to collect. Throughout our stay the wardens couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Offering advice on cycle routes and giving us a free family pass into the Cheddar Gorge caves. There are no facilities here for children but it is a perfect base for exploring lots of places nearby. Especially if you like a nice walk or cycle. The facilities that are here were clean and well looked after. There was some cheering and shouting from Cheddar FC which backs onto the site but it didn't bother us. It all adds to the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
