Fabulous location

Just visited Cheddar site. Fabulous location with easy walk into Cheddar village and Cheddar Gorge where there are lovely shops pubs and restaurants. The site is well kept but the toilet and shower block is in desperate need of an update. Some noise from the football pitch at the back of the site but all quiet after 9pm. Warning: do not use the postcode in your Sat Nav! I (and according to the friendly neighbours others before me) ended up in a very tight cul-de-sac off Laburnum Way!! This should be in the site directory but isn't (although it is for the CL which is opposite the main site.

The secret is to always follow CC directions on final approach raher than rely on satnav

Leave theM5 at junction 22. In 0.5 mile turn right at the roundabout onto the A38 (signposted Bristol, Cheddar). In about 6.5 miles at Cross turn right onto the A371 (signposted Cheddar, Wells). In about 3.5 miles in Cheddar continue over small river bridge and turn right into lane behind Cheddar Football Club (do not turn into Cheddar Bridge Touring Park or Witheridge Farm). The Site is on the left in 125 yards. The approach to the site is narrow with no passing places, so please proceed with caution and do not arrive before 13:00. Please note, do not leave the M5 at junction 21 as Banwell is very narrow and congested.
