Managed to get a late availability for the weekend which we jumped at. The wardens here are superb and you are always assured of a friendly welcome and a very quick and slick check in. The arrival time is 1pm as there is a single track into the site, however you always find some members turn up beforehand and queue up in what is clearly marked as a no waiting zone!!! The facilities are absolutely spotless and the wardens are constantly on the go tending the grounds, emptying bins and making sure everything is tip top. Personally we didn't find the rooks a problem, Chatsworth is a super site surrounded by bird life and in the park itself you can see deer, we got really close to a small family group. We were constantly pestered over the weekend by a mother and her four little ones running round our caravan and popping their heads into the awning!!! Joking, a mother duck and her tiny ducklings, our big labrador just looked at them and they at him then they would wander off to another van before returning to see if there was any food on offer. This is just a really lovely site.
