If you love the Chatsworth Estate, then this is the place for you. If you don't, then don't book here. It Is right on the estate with great access to the grounds in and around Chatsworth house, but bar this great feature, there isn't anything else around bar a pub or two. Only 5 minutes drive from Bakewell, which is a great place. And then further a field, Chesterfield and various other places 30 mins drive plus. We found the site to be quite cramped, we did go on a weekend, so it was obviously jam packed, but you felt it. Where some other sites can be full but still seem to feel spacious. We seemed very close to the vans at the side of us, and also the van in front. And every where you looked there were more caravans packed. Usual CC facilities, great shower block, play area etc
