Lovely Chatsworth

First visit to this site. If you have a long outfit take care on the drive the last part on entering the camp is very tight and you need to have all you wits about you. I have an 8m van and it was certainly a test. The Wardens are extremely helpful and lovely to talk to. The site itself is well maintained and can be a little noisy but the grass needs cutting and bushes trimming on a regular basis so that's just the way it is. The toilets are immaculate and the dog walk big enough to suffice. You have access to the estate close by and the large park land is a joy to explore. The house and gardens are well worth a visit but take a picnic with you. Baslow has a nice assortment of pubs and cafes and is within waling distance of the site. The Wheat sheaf does some good pub grub mains at £6 a head plus you get a discount on showing your caravan club card. Beeley is well worth a visit and the Devonshire Arms does the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. All in all and really nice site.
