Have been to Chatsworth site twice each year for many years which must say it all. We always book a super pitch which makes sense to me. The location is excellent for walking through the park to the house, for visiting the farm shop and garden centre and generally for touring Derbyshire. It is a very popular site so is necessary to book early especially for weekends. If you arrive close to 1.0 clock there will be a massive queue which I don't understand as almost all of the pitches are excellent. I aim to arrive a bit later to avoid these queues and am always happy with the pitch I get. I haven't noticed facilities being left in a poor state but agree that the wardens are excellent. However I have seen dog owners allowing their animals to foul the ground in public areas.
