Chatsworth Park drive

First time staying at Chatsworth Park and really enjoyed it, although early February is probably not the best time to see the park and house in all its glory, there was plenty to see and do in the immediate vicinity to keep us entertained for 4 days. Recommended is the Chatsworth Park Farm shop and café, but be early for lunch! Explore Eyam the Plague village, fascinating and Matlock Aquarium and Halogen museum. Facilities on site are top class and the site managers are friendly and helpful. Only down side is the drive up to the site, it is severely pot holed and in parts not metaled so beware you may be up to your axles in muddy water. All in all a brilliant 4 days.
