First time at the Chatsworth site and we'll be back! The site wardens were lovely and friendly and the site was well maintained. Lots of ducks and pheasant wandering around but they didn't see to make any mess. The site is set inside tall walls with a gate through to the Chatsworth estate. We are keen walkers so printed off some routes of the area before we went from the Peak District website. There are a couple of pubs in walking distance and we went in the Rowleys village pub at Baslow. Very friendly pub and dogs are allowed inside.
