Despite being conveniently located near major motorways (M1, M6 and M42) and the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham, Chapel Lane Club Campsite is a rural gem that will take you by surprise. Set in the shadow of a charming old chapel and with a pleasant open-field horizon, this West Midlands campsite is also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage - there are fascinating museums close by to take you back in time.
There is so much to do around the site from visiting The Transport Museum (open weekends and most Bank Holidays) which is adjacent to the campsite to getting a bite to eat or visiting Cadbury World. A mere ten minute walk will take you to Becketts Farm Shop which includes a restaurant serving hearty meals. Chapel Lane Club Campsite is also only 13 miles away from the NEC in Birmingham, hosting some of the UK's best-loved events such as the Caravan and Motorhome Show.
Facilities include a small dog walk on site (longer dog walks nearby) and a bus stop within 50 metres.
Please note: Birmingham's Clean Air Zone comes into effect from June 2021. Whilst Chapel Lane is not within this zone, we advise members to review Birmingham's Clean Air Zone and check at Gov. UK Clean Air Zone if charges may apply for your vehicle to drive into the city or pass through the zone on your journey to site.

We booked this site for 2 nights because we were attending the Deep Purple gig at Aston Villa. Agree with previous review - that it was all about the rules before anything else! Also, there were gypsies on site, which is the group the previous reviewer is taking about. They were right... Show more

Nice people. Rules before pleasantries on arrival Second stay here, but it doesn't seem any better kept. Chapel Lane doesn't seem to live up to our expectation of what a club site looks like. A group of people who knew each other made so much noise right up to midnight most days and... Show more

I think this is a really lovely site. I can't understand the negative reviews. I stay fairly frequently due to work commitments, and have for quite a while. The staff, as well as the site itself, are fabulous. I love the wild flowers and the whole layout of the site.... Show more

A lovely stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the long grass areas where wildflowers and insects could flourish. The supplied map of the site was clear, so locating service point, rubbish bins etc. wasn't an issue. The loo block near us was clean and comparable with most... Show more

This place is located conveniently for the NEC. That’s the end of good points. It’s tired, scruffy, the only toilet block open was smelly and tired. The pitches and grass areas were poorly kept and full of weeds. There were caravan/motor home and boat storage areas which were also scruffy.... Show more
