Good access to Birmingham

For anyone visiting the NEC or NIA, this is a well positioned site, with easy access from the motorways. The site is quite open and has a countryside feel. Tthe hardstandings are of a good size to fit most motorhomes and caravans. We arrived somewhat early and had to wait until 12 noon to be allowed access, but it is not always easy to judge distance and traffic exactly. However, the wardens are friendly and helpful and seem to work well as a team. Our only complaint was that our few days were spoiled by irresponsible dog owners, who allowed their pets to bark at everything that moved! Now, realising that Crufts was on that weekend, it would be a time to ignore for any future visits. It is a shame that a few people are selfish in their responsibility to the enjoyment of others. Also a word of warning about parking under the trees! Our clean van was extremely dirty when we left, from the hundreds of pigeons who lived in the trees on site (much as we love birds).
