Despite being conveniently located near major motorways (M1, M6 and M42) and the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham, Chapel Lane Club Campsite is a rural gem that will take you by surprise. Set in the shadow of a charming old chapel and with a pleasant open-field horizon, this West Midlands campsite is also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage - there are fascinating museums close by to take you back in time.
There is so much to do around the site from visiting The Transport Museum (open weekends and most Bank Holidays) which is adjacent to the campsite to getting a bite to eat or visiting Cadbury World. A mere ten minute walk will take you to Becketts Farm Shop which includes a restaurant serving hearty meals. Chapel Lane Club Campsite is also only 13 miles away from the NEC in Birmingham, hosting some of the UK's best-loved events such as the Caravan and Motorhome Show.
Facilities include a small dog walk on site (longer dog walks nearby) and a bus stop within 50 metres.
Please note: Birmingham's Clean Air Zone comes into effect from June 2021. Whilst Chapel Lane is not within this zone, we advise members to review Birmingham's Clean Air Zone and check at Gov. UK Clean Air Zone if charges may apply for your vehicle to drive into the city or pass through the zone on your journey to site.

Very agreeably surprised at the quality, space and cleanliness of this site, serving both Birmingham and surrounding areas. Feels very rural for a site so close to the city. Very easy and convenient to access for a motorway stopover but also a great base for longer. Spacious pitches, immaculate bathrooms... Show more

A great place to stop if going up north. Wish we had stayed a few days longer as quite a bit to do in the area, plus Birmingham. Very friendly staff.

Like the last reviewer I had been a bit put off by some negative reviews as we have stayed here about 3 times before and liked it. You can't fault it for location - so convenient for lots of things - so this won out. Like the last... Show more

We often stay here as it's quite peaceful considering its location. I know many use it as a stopover due to its location on the motorway network but we have family in the area and find it handy for exploring Birmingham.

Great stop over if your travelling from North of England going South, and vise a versa. We stopped two nights. Somebody has complained about it being scruffy. Take a moment. 1 work is being done. 2 leaves falling off tree's ( oh dear stop nature ). We have been in a drought... Show more

Only good for a stopover or trips out. Usual standard of amenities, ie very clean. The ambience is more like a carpark than a well tended campsite though. Don’t think we’d bother coming again
