Despite being conveniently located near major motorways (M1, M6 and M42) and the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham, Chapel Lane Club Campsite is a rural gem that will take you by surprise. Set in the shadow of a charming old chapel and with a pleasant open-field horizon, this West Midlands campsite is also marvellous for those with an interest in our industrial heritage - there are fascinating museums close by to take you back in time.
There is so much to do around the site from visiting The Transport Museum (open weekends and most Bank Holidays) which is adjacent to the campsite to getting a bite to eat or visiting Cadbury World. A mere ten minute walk will take you to Becketts Farm Shop which includes a restaurant serving hearty meals. Chapel Lane Club Campsite is also only 13 miles away from the NEC in Birmingham, hosting some of the UK's best-loved events such as the Caravan and Motorhome Show.
Facilities include a small dog walk on site (longer dog walks nearby) and a bus stop within 50 metres.
Please note: Birmingham's Clean Air Zone comes into effect from June 2021. Whilst Chapel Lane is not within this zone, we advise members to review Birmingham's Clean Air Zone and check at Gov. UK Clean Air Zone if charges may apply for your vehicle to drive into the city or pass through the zone on your journey to site.

We stayed a few nights to visit National Trust properties. The site and staff were fine. We were given a leaflet about buses compiled by a visitor. It was inacurate. The local bus, I think 665 was reliable and turned up on time on the two mornings we used it. However... Show more

A super site, very clean, easy access, well maintained and friendly staff. Although there was some background noise from the M42, the birds drowned it out, so not really a problem. The pitches are a good size and well equipped (fully serviced), and the facilities on site were both in... Show more

We’d heard a lot about Chapel Lane but rarely travel north—until now! We absolutely loved our stay. The site has fantastic footpaths right from the doorstep, perfect for exploring. We also tried the pub recommended in the leaflet, which was great for lunch. The wardens were welcoming and extremely helpful, making... Show more
