We have just spent 8 nights here in the Peaks and we will definitely return. We were fantastically lucky having sunshine for 8 days which undoubtedly added to the pleasure of staying on this site. The toilet blocks are kept clean and tidy, the site itself albeit a little compact is always kept clean and tidy and the wardens work very hard to keep it this way. The site itself is within easy walking distance of Castleton and many hill walks, all of the pubs are dog friendly and I can see why this site is fully booked up over most weekends. We had 3G on our phones with a good signal so no need to use wifi to check emails etc. Highly recommended to try this site out if you are thinking of visiting the High Peaks.
