We absolutely loved this site and were blissfully unaware of the TV / WiFi problems mentioned by others as both are a low priority with us on holiday. This is a wonderful site for walking - armed with a map it is easy to get away from the busy routes and all the paths are well marked and clear on the ground. Although the dog walk is tiny there is a good route adjacent to the Youth Hostel which gives a variety of options and is very close. Castleton has a couple of stores where supplies can be bought and Hope has a few more with a farm shop. Castleton itself is a delightful, well kept village. We will certainly be back at some point as many more walks to do.
