Stayed on a service pitch with our new caravan to try everything out and have a good break. We have visited this site on numerous occasions and again it lived up to our expectations. The service pitches are well laid out and grouped together on a separate area of the site. They are level and spacious. Despite the site wardens being busy getting everyone booked In for the weekend, they were very pleasant and accommodating. The recent refurbishment has removed some of the awning pitches and made them into non awning ones. Whilst this creates more space on the site, it does restrict the number of pitches for those of us who caravan through winter but need an awning for muddy boots,clothes etc . A visit to Castleton is a must and most pubs are dog friendly too which is a bonus if not a bit embarrassing when your dogs know which one to drag you into! We had a lovely walk up cavedale, man for and winnats pass. Cold but dry A wonderful club site. Have already booked to go again.
