Arrived Friday lunchtime to an office full of staff. Apologies that pitch electricity was temporarily down. Some pitches were shut off completely. Not an issue, we walked in the afternoon and had a good excuse to visit one of the many great pubs in walking distance. Power was back on by evening. This situation was good for us, the site was not full. Some pitches were left empty, so it was less like camping in a carpark. Great walks on the doorstep. Lovely village with tourist attractions, good pubs for food and ale. You don't need to move your car all weekend. Definitely worth a visit for all ages.
