Excellent 3 nights in which we were able to walk and cycle from the site as well as cycle around the Derwent valley reservoirs. Castleton is very close and offers good pubs and food. Facilities are excellent and modern with the exception of the Motorhome service point which requires leaving through the barriers and re-entering the site, as well as being on a significant slope which made emptying our waste disposal tank impossible. We were not the only ones having problems which led to a queue. Not ideal design for a recently refurbished site!
