First visit
First time to Castleton. Great location within easy walk of village. Plenty of good pubs and cafes. Lots of walking possibilities in surrounding area. Friendly welcome on arrival at site. Site facilities very good, with usefull drying room for wet outdoor gear. Many people we met were regular visitors which says it all. We did not see a play area for younger children, although dogs have their own 'exercise' area. So maybe not ideal for families with young children.
We look forward to retuning sometime in the summer.
