Our first time at Castleton and we were very happy with the site. We appreciated the friendly welcome and all the small touches like the help-yourself herb garden and the little 'flower pot men'. The site is well maintained and the facilities were kept clean and tidy no matter what time we used them. Although the site is in the middle of the countryside it has a private feel as it is surrounded by trees. There is some occasional road noise but nothing to spoil the peace. Its a short walk into Castleton with a range of pubs and cafes. Spoilt for choice for walks in all directions. We wouldn't hesitate to go again.
