Great site in a great location. Lots of walks from the site and 5 mins walk into the village. We only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed every minute, despite the rain! Check in was simple and as usual with the Club we found the wardens to be very friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless and up to the usual standards. The jewel in the crown with this site is its location with plenty of walks from the site and the close proximity to Castleton, with shops, cafes and lots of pubs, most dog friendly which was a bonus for us. We will definitely be back, in fact, despite its popularity, we have managed to book 4 nights in May.
