Yes the site needs a refit in the loo block as others have said but it's fine and usable for now. The location is ideal for hiking. I did a 7 mile circular route up Loose Hill and over to Mam Tor from the site. The village is a ten minute wander away and has many interesting nooks and crannies as well as the show caves. The site gang of ducks like the food from reception BTW!! Note for wardens, in cold weather please close the windows in the shower block when the heating is on full tilt as it's a waste!! Otherwise a great year round site and one I will miss when it closes to be refitted
