Just finished 5 nights here and it was superb. Spotted the site whilst walking earlier in the year and despite not having serviced pitches we gave it a go.(fetching and carrying water etc isn't that bad) Staff, facilities and location excellent. Site is well established and very well kept and run, located 5 minutes walk from Castleton and 10 to 15 minutes from Hope. The village is very nice and the access to fantastic walks within 2 minutes of the site and caves within 25 minutes is perfect. Pubs aplenty with the Cheshire Cheese Inn being our most popular watering hole and feeding station. Site is all hard standing and slopes in places, so depending on your pitch you may need levellers. Site was very popular and was full for some of the nights, we enjoyed this site and location so much we have booked a week in May. So in summary; great site, great location, staff and facilities excellent.
