A room with a view
.We stayed on this site for 3 nights in a motorhome. The site is well situated with panoramic views. The facilities are very good and up to the standard we have come to expect from club sites. It is a relatively easy walk into Castleton, which offers a good range of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. We particularly recommend Tilly's, where we had a couple of good-value meals, whereas food at a couple of the local pubs was average., perhaps trading more on reputation than quality.
There is a bus stop close to the camp gates with services going as far afield as Bakewell and Sheffield. This site is an excellent base for exploring the north of the Peaks.
