This was our first visit to Castleton and I we were very pleased. Firstly for us easy to get to albeit the Rivelin road is somewhat bumpy (ensure everything is battened down) if you travel this way. Upon arrival the staff as usual were friendly and helpful even though the site was full they still had time to go through everything, we picked our pitch (8) it is the largest pitch we have had in our 5 yrs with the van. All the site facilities were kept clean and tidy as usual. The weather and Castleton made this a most enjoyable stay,plenty of walks plus the caverns and after all that about 6 pubs to quench your thirst most of them doing food and some fine ales. People in the village very friendly, cavern guides very knowledgable. Overall a great stay and will return.
