We've just had our second stay at Cherry Hinton. We use the campsite for our campervan and then get the bus (frequent no.1 & 3 buses to centre of Cambridge from bus stop 5 minutes walk away) to see our daughter and our new grandchild. Very easy and convenient and a lot cheaper than staying in a B & B / hotel (v expensive in Cambridge!). Robin Hood pub 5 minutes walk away - i.e. good value cooked breakfast between 10.00am and midday - only £10 for two including toast and coffee! We can't fault the friendly staff and facilities. They have thought of everything with the excellent loo block with the temperature always cosy (v welcome in the cold weather), constant hot water and hooks in abundance on doors etc. Large plots, good waste facilities, drinking water, hook up etc. Not really a site to keep young children entertained but that's not we look for here. You'd be hard pushed to find a better site overall.
