New Year Eve break
We have just stayed here to see the new year in with friends and was such an enjoyable stay, greeted by friendly staff and mulled wine and biscuits offered to start the new years eve celebrations.
Site was lovely with pitches dotted about in little nucks and crannies, there is no play park for little ones but lots of walks around a disused chalk quarry. The main road leading to park is very narrow and very busy so do take caution walking up to quarry and when arriving and leaving take the route suggested by the site and not by satnav.
We walked to Cambridge and back from site which took us around an hour with a four year old, followed directions given from warden. Lovely looking around the colleges and churches and found a lovely pub "The Mill" down by the waters which allowed dogs and children in and excellent food and real ales. Well worth a stay
