Lovely Site if you get a good pitch
On all sites some pitches are better than others but on this one there is a significant difference between the better ones and the poorer ones. Quite a high proportion of the pitches are surrounded by VERY tall trees, creating dark, dismal, cold areas where sitting outside is uncomfortable. (We had acorns dropping on the roof all night from a height of 50 feet before we were fortunate to be able to find a better pitch the next day)
This is a shame because this is a lovely site but if we had to spend the full holiday in one of the very shaded areas I'm afraid we would probably terminate the trip early. The site is well maintained but, in my opinion, needs some serious tree surgery.
