We like visiting interesting cities such as York, Oxford and, of course, Cambridge.  Our aim is always to find sites convenient to bus routes so we can use our national bus passes. The Cherry Hinton site is perfect in this respect; a short walk to a choice of two bus routes into the town, both of which run every ten minutes or so.  If you take either route in the opposite direction you reach a very pleasant Tesco superstore. Across the road from the site is a nature reserve made out of a lime quarry. The site wardens are very pleasant and helpful, and we really enjoyed our short stay.
