Good for families

Great Location - Ruined by the weather.

The Positives for me. The location, it's been great to access the North West from this location. The site Monday to Friday is pretty quiet. The steam trains going by are nice. The Negatives. The grass cutting seams to never end, even on sunday there was hours and hours of noise and its still not been completed haha. I know it needs to be done but seams to take forever ? The service point in the "serviced Pitches" area have no bins. You pay a premium for a pitch like this and you have to walk a long way to empty the bins. The Wind, Now i know it's the UK, but the wind on the site seams to be really bad. Even further down the site. I was really concerend about the awning and caravan in general. The access road is a little aincent and I dont think it did much good to the caravan. I also don't know why the first access barrier is down during normal hours? For people like me that travels alone its a bit of a faff every time i go out to come back in and swipe the card on the LHS. The second is also a bit close to swipe the card while in the car. I'll be back as its a great access for the NW. But the annoying things from my experiance ruin what would be a greater site.
