5 Day stay,Pricey, and not a dog friendly site

Recent Stay for 5 Days at this site my overall rating is based on yet again not friendly wardens ( Caravan Club Site Police)and the state of the shower block which is in need of re tiling as most shower cubicles suffer from broken tiles. I visited the the toilet block at 6 am in need to be surprised all cubicles taken, actually 3 were locked out of use, same as some shower cubicles, both myself and another camper who arrived not impressed at all, ?? state at 9 am nightmare Apart from that the site location is fine, with the local pub friendly service. a lot of very close shops take away's and superstore shopping on the doorstep. We had a serviced pitch not by choice, as would have preferred only electric. Slight smell from the site grey waste soil outlet, but as this was at the rear of our outfit did not penetrate into caravan. Would stay here again if absolutely nothing else in area was available. Camped here after a week stay in Devon at Zeacombe House where you the very friendly owners do everything to welcome you and your family The approach road is cobbled and as long as you drive carefully and slow presents no problem.. The local railway is nice to see and hear the steam locos which it uses

I could the warden to be very sharp too.  It's important the when people pay their hard earned money on a holiday that they should be welcomed at reception.

We do not know the wardens background, but perhaps a bit of training in customer relations would help. The site is dog friendly, in fact ideal for dogs but the Don't allow your dog's dogs to pee on the fence signs all round the wardens caravan creates a very poor impression.

Not if you have to live for several months with the consequences of the smell of dogs continually peeing on your fence by inconsiderate ownerssurprised

Ps  it is not the only site that has that problem, also letting them pee on site signs and bollards etc that have to be handled by site stafffrown
