So peaceful

We decided to stay somewhere local in our camper van (we live about 40 minutes away) and were delighted with what we found at Broomfield Farm. This rural site is lovely and secluded and more tranquil than you would believe possible in the South East. It's so quiet you can hear an oak leaf landing on the grass. There's a pub about 25 minutes' walk away down the lanes (or slight short cut via the Vanguard Way at the back of the site) in the village of East Hoathly. There you will find excellent ales (microbrewery on site), a warm welcome and good food served in ample portions. We liked the site so much we came back a second time the following weekend! Would like to go back next summer and laze around a bit on a hot day...
