Great site for peace and quiet.

This is my go to site when I need a bit peace and quiet, it has spacious pitches all with electricity, wide open spaces, woodland dog walks and great staff on site which keep this site in excellent order. There are two decent pubs 30-40 mins walk away for good food and drinks and a its close to supermarkets and local village shops for supplies.

In the country

Staying at Broomfield farm camc site , the site is immaculate grass mowed and around the office the pots and baskets are coming into bloom . The information room has leaflets for days out and there is a library with books to read. Steve and kaye manage the site and are proud of their site they are always happy to help with information if needed. On July 13th the site is celebrating 40 years with a party, there will be games and quizzes for all to join in. A marquee with music in the evening and a fish and chip van so no need to cook. Should be a great time as the seasonals are a happy group and make visitors feel welcome . As there is no shower / toilet bock site prices are affordable, so if you want peace and quiet set in the countryside this is an ideal site just to sit and watch the sun go down

Weekend rally + boules match

Spent the weekend at bf farm as there was a rally staying The rally group was having their boules match there as there is a lovely boules pitch to play on. On the Saturday evening the rally people challenged the seasonal members to a match . And i am pleased to say thanks to the ladies Chris and carol Broomfield won 🏆 It was a great evening Steve and Kaye the site managers made this possible 👍 Great site well worth a visit, peaceful location in the Sussex countryside You need your own facilities as no toilet block.

Lovely quiet site.

When we visited (Easter 2024) we had been booked at a nearby CL but it was waterlogged and had to cancel. Broomfield were helpful and friendly. Grass pitches were closed and even hardstanding had soggy bits. Good walking from the site. Well placed for local attractions eg Charleston, Sheffield Park. Facilities meticulously clean. Friendly, accommodating and helpful wardens. Would visit again if in the area.

Great atmosphere

Our 5th visit to Broomfield Farm in as many years. We were welcomed as old friends! The site team are great - always cheerful and busy. We love to play a little boules and generally chill out here. The site is the perfect location and in a lovely rural setting. Definitely a hidden gem. Long may it stay as part of the CMC network.

Great value peaceful lovely location

Just had 4 nights at Broomfield farm Spoke to people for who it was their first visit and absolutely loved the site . Lots to visit in the area and very good for cyclists. You can go seaside or country Shopping for supplies is easy a choice , supermarkets at Heathfield, Uckfield, Hailsham and bigger shopping can be at Eastbourne or Tunbridge Wells. In the wooded area the bluebells are in abundance Highly recommend this site for a weekend or a longer stay .

Lovely Club Site

Lovely club site discovered by accident. No wc or showers but good clean facilities and a motorhome drive-over point (always a bonus). Part of the site is an open plan grass site with boules set out for members to play. The other part of the site was a woodland area with lots of trees and more privacy and this is where we parked. Absolutely loved it as did the dogs - lots of places for walks, plenty of dog bins provided and site was kept very clean with bins etc emptied regularly. Its like a cross over between a club site and a CL and we really loved that. OK so you had to use your own facilities but to be honest that really wasn't a problem. We will certainly be coming back here as its a lovely site and there's so much to see and do very close by
