Spent time at bf farm site , as always peaceful. On the Saturday there was a boules match with the seasonals and a charity preloved camping bits for sale . This was the second sale and the last for this year . To date £1,102 has been raised for cancer support . Hopefully this will be done again next year . This site I call a senior site as most visitors are retired which makes it the site it is . Well kept mown grass and the information room has dvd’s and books to buy, plenty of leaflets for places to visit . Supermarkets nearby at Heathfield about 7 miles . No toilet block so need your own facilities . Two camping areas as you arrive there is a open meadow or the wooded area which is appreciated on a hot day, in the wood you will see lots of birds , at night I heard the owl.
