We don't live far away but the site is set in such a wonderful area we love coming here. One has the option for a wide open grassy field to watch the sun go down (or rise!) or the wooded glades if you want the shelter is brilliant. On the occasions we have visited it has always been quiet. The site is well placed between three good walks to local villages of East Hoathly, Waldron and Chiddingly with pubs providing liquid and solid refreshment. Further afield you have Lewes, Eastbourne and Uckfield. If you like a country setting then it is well worth a visit
