Great location

Spent a long weekend here with friends. Fabulous location, walks of varying difficulty directly from site. Facilities very clean and cared for, welcoming and friendly wardens, site well kept. The pitches are a decent size, plenty of room for car, Caravan and awning all side by side). The dog walk is small, but perfect for a quick loo visit. Broadway itself is lovely, again very dog friendly. Our favourite Broadway pub (The Crown and Trumpet) was atmospheric, dog friendly and excellent beer! Be warned, at the time of writing, part of the public footpath which takes you the scenic route into Broadway is closed at the time of writing (March 2018). It looks as though they’re building a new housing estate. There are other routes which can be taken though. The garage across the road from the site is great for fresh bread 🥖 and delicious pastries! Lovely site, can’t praise it enough.

First Stay at Broadway with our Motorhome

Were greeted warmly by the Assistant Warden and efficiently booked in and easily found a pitch suitable for us. Were delighted to see the Steam train doing its trial run on 2 days during our stay! The site is well maintained and the facilities are spotless. Very friendly team of Wardens and will definitely return later in the year. Having a motorhome was very handy for buses to Evesham, Stratford and Moreton.

First motorhome trip

This was our first trip in our recently purchased motorhome ( did caravinning years ago, when the kids were small ). We booked this site because of the favourable reviews and that it was only 30 miles from our home. We stayed for two nights and the welcome we received from the wardens was first class. This is a small site and the roads around it are great. We stayed on a service pitch that included EHU, water tap, drain point and tv aerial socket. All the pitches were huge and kept up to a very high standard. We stayed on the lower half of the site and the washrooms are of such a high standard and kept scrupulously clean at all times of the day. The site is situated on the edge of Broadway and is only about 15 minute walking time to the centre. My wife uses a mobility scooter so it was nice to have a smooth footpath that she could use. We went to two pubs. The Swan and the Crown and Trumpet. Both of the pubs are dog friendly and we received a warm welcome and enjoyed nice meals. The main highlight of the trip was not so much about the site but by the warmth and friendliness of the other campers. Everybody stopped to talk, and not just a quick hello but a proper conversation. To sum up we had a brilliant time and can't wait to get away this weekend. We will definitely be coming back to this site soon as I imagine it would be even better when the sun actually starts shining. The only reservation I have is that we chose this site for our first ever trip and I'm worried that other sites wont match it. Time will tell.

Weekend Getaway

Our 2nd visit to this site, usual high standards overall, good, clean facilities & helpful, friendly wardens. Walked to Snowshill Manor & gardens (NT) - albeit along the road but wasn’t too hairy (last bit quite steep though!). Worth a visit, love how you can see the village pub next door on your way round - which concluded our visit nicely! Didn’t have time to visit Broadway Tower, perhaps next time? Usual tea shops/tourist shops but nice mix, but wander off the main ‘strip’, the wine shop made for an interesting visit! Would definitely return here but like most of the club sites it’s getting harder to book in for weekends!

I saw the first steam train arrive since 1961

Lovely site which is well laid out, easy to access and easy walking distance of the nearby town of Broadway. We arrived just as the first steam train arrived since 1961. The nearby station is going to be an amazing asset to the site once the steam and diesel trains start to run on a regular basis. Lots of lovely walks nearby whether you want a stroll into town or a hike up to Broadway Tower and beyond into the heart of the Cotswolds. The arrival of the trains means you will be able to ride into Cheltenham and there will soon be a shuttle service into Broadway. The downside is that the site will always be busy so if you’re planning a trip book early to avoid disappointment. Just hope the CMC keeps some pitches available for the motorhomes who only want to stop a night or two in this beautiful part of the country. We’ll definitely be back.

Short Stay

Convenient for visiting Willersley and Auto-Sleepers plus of course Broadway, a delightful Cotswold Village a short walk away. Staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our brief stay.

Cold Half term Break

Stayed for 4 cold nights over half term. Wardens excellent and site kept immaculate. Easy walk into Broadway and some lovely dog friendly pubs. Shame about the technical difficulties with the power (lack of) on the Saturday as we lost all use of water (assume pumped) and the shower blocks and toilets had to be closed from circa 9.15 through to late afternoon so had to rig up phone to IPad to watch the Rugby. Not the wardens fault at all but possibility cause by too much draw on the electricity as so cold. Saw people with electric heaters in awnings which didn’t help. Anyway liked it so much booked to go back in December for some Christmas festivities.

Great site.

We stayed for 5 nights over the half term break. Site was very busy and most pitches occupied. Perhaps due to the bitterly cold weather it seemed very quiet on site as few ventured far from their units on foot. Facilities and staff up to the usual high standards on club sites. The site was experiencing 'technical issues' in the form of a powercut and loss of mains water as we left on the Saturday morning and I did feel for the wardens dealing with the problem, However we brits do love a crisis and I hope the power was restored in time for the afternoon's rugby on TV. The stroll/brisk trot (depending on the weather) into Broadway is a mere few minutes with plenty of pubs to choose from once in the town. Fantastic play area at the top of the town for all ages.

Great Stay

We spent 5 days here over the half term holidays. We had a warm welcome from the warden who explained the layout of the site and which toilet blocks were in use during the week. We had a pitch with the road running at the back of us but we did not really notice the road noise. Facilities in the toilet blocks good normal high standard we liked the fact that the toilets are not closed for cleaning until 2pm hooray there is not the normal morning rush to get up and get showered before the block closes and no queuing either well done wish more sites would do this. Not impressed with fellow members who allowed there dog to foul on the path and leave it for the warden to get up and then another episode on the grass also which the warden was left to get up, unacceptable. Easy walking to Broadway with lots of eateries and nice walk to Broadway tower. Lots of walking around and about which can be accessed from a leaflet from the tourist office. We shall certainly return to this site.
