One of the best

Brilliant site for so many reasons. Not particularly attractive for young children which suits us. Excellent dog walk for that first thing in the morning trip. Excellent shower block (both) - very clean and I love the afternoon cleaning times. I sense a lot of hard work by the wardens and yet I hardly met them. Loved the pizza van - lovely service and quality. Also loved the sounds of the steam trains pulling out of the station at the back of the caravan. We have had a lovely week and seen so many attractive towns, scenery, lovely places to walk and yet all so close by. I never filled the car with fuel until leaving. Can recommend The Swan for a special meal venue- bookable online and last of all Broadway Caravan Site. a gem

Lovely well organised clean site

Last weekend was our second time this year at Broadway, we were impressed on both occasions, very clean good facilities, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the steam train next to the site ads nostalgia, a nice walk into Broadway for the shops and pubs. We will be back again next year thank you!

Broadway - excellent site

We have stayed at almost all the club sites in the Cotswolds but this was the first time we have stayed at Broadway. It's definitely top of our list to date and we booked for next September before we left. We particularly like the fully serviced pitch and the spacious grassed area behind. The site is 5 minutes' walk from the steam railway station and travelling to Cheltenham racecourse by train is worthwhile. It takes about 15 minutes to walk into Broadway where there are a number of good eating places and a small supermarket. The site is also within easy driving distance of many of the well-known Cotswold towns such as Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. We enjoyed the walk to Broadway Tower, but the walk is steep in places. We would not hesitate to recommend this site. Congratulations to the wardens who are doing a great job.

Credit to the Wardens

This was the second time we have stayed at Broadway and again really enjoyed it. Broadway itself is within easy walking distance we a nice selection of pubs, cafes and shops. We enjoyed a meal in the Broadway hotel. Broadway tower is also a nice walk with stunning views at the top. The railway which runs next to the site is also operational and makes for a great attraction within walking distance. Lastly, the wardens - They provided us with the best welcome we have ever received, very informative of the site and available pitches along with taking time to go through any questions we have, excellent example to other wardens.

We will be back!!

Our first visit to Broadway and it will definitely not be the last. As other reviewers have said the site is immaculate, great position for seeing the Cotswolds, plenty to see and do within very short distances. The visiting pizza and fish & chip van were a bonus and delicious. Our only gripes were the hit and miss television reception we had on pitch 92 even tho' we were plugged into the booster, and could the club please put some lighting on the site roads, it is very dark walking back from the dishwashing area at night. Sorry for the small gripes but I can assure you it didn't spoil our lovely 7 night holiday. In closing please pass on our thanks to the superb staff at the site, they do a great job.

6 days on 'Broadway

Having been a club member for many years, this was my first visit to Broadway, it certainly will not be my last. Everything was brilliant from the reception on arrival, the layout of the site, the quality of the pitches, and excellent facilities. We were lucky enough to have a pitch on the part of the site away from the road, with views of the steam trains on the Gloucester and Warwickshire railway. The site was full at the time of the visit but it did not feel overrun or did the facilities seem at full stretch. I believe this came about as a result of the sensible time for cleaning the facilities in the afternoon rather than at 10.30am in the morning which causes a rush. The facilities were well maintained and kept very clean even on a full site. Well done to the warden team for all their hard work in keeping the place so well presented, thank you. The area is a great place to visit lots to see and do, we didn't see everything we wanted so will be back for more. Visits included: - the railway - great since they have now extended the line to Broadway, and I think life blood to them. Harvington Hall near Droitwich was fascinating with all its priest holes, even featured in Country Life, well worth a visit. Charlcote Park, Sudeley Castle and Chedworth Roman villa were part of the itinerary. Also visited Broadway the town seems to sold its soul less to tourism than some Cotswold towns, Stow - great kitchen shops and Chipping Campden. Look forward to coming back

Fantastic site

This was our first visit to the site and we will definitely be back. Staff very welcoming and friendly, facilities spotless. Dog walking areas useful for early morning/evening walk. Easy walk into the town and plenty of places to take the dog on longer walks. Walk upto Broadway Tower was worthwhile for fabulous views. Pizza van on Monday night was excellent.

Much more than a great site

As others have said, this site has it all and the facilities are spot on. I was pleasantly surprised the site was almost in woodland......don’t envy anyone the leaf clearing job in the autumn. In five years of using club sites I have always said the wardens are excellent.......in my case they went the “extra”. All set ready to move off the pitch, hitch checked......bump over the first speed ramp (very slowly) and the hitch came adrift from the ball. Safety brake cable snapped, wires pulled clear of plug and nose on the ground. As if by magic the head warden appeared, used his radio and called the training warden( I think). They got the caravan back on the pitch, pulled the plug apart, rewired and had me back ready to go in forty five minutes advising me to get to Cotswold Caravans for a new safety cable. ...which I did. That is what I call being helpful and all done with smiles......thank you so much Broadway. We will be back.... And yes, I have successfully hitched three times since the incident.

Excelent

1st class site and wardens, great that the steam railway station is just across the road and runs past the edge of the site. Lovely village, all within walking distance.
