Very Nice Site

I have used this site quite a number of times and know Brighton well. I cannot agree with the previous reviewer at all, especially her disparaging comments regarding homeless people and older citizens (Jan x 2). As far as the site is concerned, it’s five star! To state it’s a dirty run-down concrete car park is very misleading and far from reality. The facilities, especially the toilet blocks are more than ample, always spotlessly clean and in good condition. The general maintenance of the site reaches a very high standard too. As for the wardens and staff, they are a credit to the club and, even when under pressure at peak times, deal with everything in a friendly and professional manner. It’s obvious the site has no control regarding what occurs beyond their boundary, and yes, unfortunately in recent years civic pride in Brighton has evaporated like a puddle in a heatwave, with parts now looking quite rundown. However, that is a matter for the local authority and politicians. I have walked to and from the site many, many times and have never felt, or been, threatened, abused, or intimidated. Sadly, I don’t think Brighton is any different from many UK towns these days but that should not put anyone off staying at this excellent site.

As we were leaving the site we had to wait on the road outside the site whilst the police chased a man with an axe I call this feeling threatened. The stink of urine was revolting when you walked down the road I was glad I had no children with me.The rest of your review I totally agree with
