Lovely site, arrival road was fine, yes there were some vans parked but lots were obviously tourists. Holes in the road are fine if you take them slow, the whole road infrastructure around Brighton isn't great so not surprised nothing's been done. Toilets and showers were good until Sunday morning. Just be warned there are no curtains in the shower cubicles, and only wall hooks so the likelihood is your belongings will get wet. Lots of children on site Saturday evening, some unsupervised and noise going on well past 11.30. The showers and toilets on Sunday morning were a mess. This is not the fault of the wardens, who are extremely helpful and keep the place immaculate as a rule. Chef phillipe's food was very good but he's open 9-4 most days and later on Friday and night for evening meals. These have to be ordered. Recommend the Plough in Rottingdean, food and service is superb. Likewise Wahaca in Brighton. Friday's at the Marina was awful.
