Great site

We’ve just spent 5 nights here - our second visit. Chef Philippe is a great addition for morning pastries, amazing sausage rolls & pizzas. As always the wardens keep the place very clean & organised and are cheerful.

Love this site

We stay on this site quite a lot as our daughter lives in Brighton. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from the minute you walk into reception on arrival to leaving the site at the end of your stay. We always seem to get a wave from who ever is on reception. The site is so beautifully cared for and the toilet/shower blocks are incredibly clean, warm and the showers dont turn off after a few minutes! Always a bonus! The pitches are all well maintained and a good size. Chef Phillipe is definetly an added bonus to this site. Lovely food and now does Pizzas in the evening too. If you ever need any help there is always someone to assist you in a warm and friendly manner, which is great. Another bonus is that they have sorted the approach road to the site now, no more deep potholes. Definetly one of our favourite CAMC sites.

Great site, combines the peace of the country side with a short hop to a busy city.

My wife and I have visited this site many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are always welcoming and the facilities are clean and in good condition. Phillipe's coffee shop is a great bonus in the mornings, plus he also serves stone baked pizza in the evenings a couple of times a week. There are plenty of pitches to choose from, with a good mix of with/without awning or fully serviced. Two shower blocks are available and both have laundry rooms. Each one also has a drive over motorhome waste drain and water points for filling. It can be a little bit noisy when the local football team (Whitehawk F.C.) is playing at home, but it does mean with just a short walk you can watch a lower league (Non League Div One) football match. We would highly recommend you have a visit. B & V

A Very Convenient Location

We often stay at Brighton, there is always something to do throughout the year. Many rallies and events are schedules along the seafront, there is an excellent range of productions at the theatre Royal and other locations and the Amex Stadium as well as the Marina and an excellent bus service. You also have the sea on your doorstep. The site is obviously busy in the peak periods, but you can always find a pitch to suit and the location is outstanding. The facilities are good and well looked after and the re-surfaced access road is very welcome. Being in East Brighton Park makes it very quiet and you feel you are in the countryside, rather than in a city. The walks over the Downs are superb. Brighton is also well designed for bicycles. It is a site well worth trying and spending a few days.

Perfect every time

We’ve stayed here several times now and can highly recommend this site for: service, cleanliness, organisation, proximity to Brighton & beach. Staff are always ready to go over & above to help and we like Chef Phillipe coffee shop too - a great addition to the site.

Peaceful and lovely sight

I stayed here in February and I have to say I was surprised how peaceful the site was. It's nestled between some green hills with trees surrounding the site so I could hear bird song until late in the evening. No traffic noise and peaceful nights sleep. It's about 15 minutes walk to the Marina and another 20 into Brighton. It feels like the best of both worlds, close enough to enjoy busy Brighton but far enough to have peaceful days and rest. Would definitely return, all facilities great and well looked after.

Fabulous

This was our first stay at a large site and we were impressed. Ok so you pay a bit more but clean, organized, well serviced, staffed, great facilities, also quiet for a large site. This site is close to the sea and very well placed. We would definitely visit again. Brighton is so we'll set up for cycling which was great for us.

Love this site

This was my fourth or fifth visit to this site…a fabulous location. To be fair I sometimes stay because I’m working in the area [Shoreham Port]. I say work as I prefer to stay here over the hotel option…because all year round it’s a holiday vibe - but that’s Brighton for you! This time I needed a little assistance with my barrier key [my error]…without asking for help one of the wardens came to help…whilst he was rightly firm with me [it was after the 10pm quiet zone], the next morning he took the time to check I was ok & sorted. Can’t fault him or any of the wardens who work hard to keep this site & facilities spotless. I believe the heavily pot holed entrance road is being attended to soon too. A definite one to visit & without question…I’ll be back!

Great Site, Great Location

We have just spent 2 nights at the site and could find no faults whatsoever. Checking in at reception was very easy with friendly staff. We were advised to select our own pitch (blue markers) which we did and my good lady advised the office of where we were whilst I got us set up The information leaflet we were given was excellent, very informative, with some great recommendations and we quickly found the bus stop to go into Brighton. The road into the site is okay but be aware, at the time of submitting this review, there are some very large potholes lurking so keep an eye open for them. I would suggest that if you are walking the road during darkness then a torch would be very beneficial and possibly prevent a visit to A&E! The site itself was very nice, the toilet/shower block we used was very clean. The grounds themselves were nice. There is a very frequent bus service just a short walk from the site into Brighton. Brighton has so much to offer with a plethora of independent shops in The Lanes, some excellent restaurants and cafes, the seafront itself and some great entertainment venues. We would definitely return to the site.
