Lovely stay

We have just had 2 nights here so we could see family. We were able to leave our campervan on site and walk to where we wanted to be. We used the little Volks Electric Railway to quickly get into the centre. Choice of restaurants at the Marina nearby. Chef Phillipe wasn’t open whilst we were there (at least he was the first day but we were eating out) so we ordered a takeaway the second day which was delivered to the site. The facilities are very good. Yes I suppose it was pricey but then isn’t everything now….and the location was just right for us. The staff were welcoming (we’d had a long and tiring journey) and helpful.

Expensive weekend

We have stayed at Brighton caravan club site many times, and had a very enjoyable stay, but I'm afraid it has got so so ridiculously expensive that we are no longer prepared to pay such high prices to park in a field, so we have found an alternative site cheaper and I think this will be the trend if the caravan club continues increasing prices as they are. and I will not be renewing my membership.

Great Site, Excellent Location and High Performing Staff & Service

Originally planned 5 days on this site, then decided to extend. The site is well kept & maintained, the staff love their work, and nothing is a bother to them - very positive about their objectives and are proud of the deliverable results . We will certainly be back 😊

Up to normal high standards, needs better transport links

Lovely site up to normal high club standards. Very quiet and clean, well maintained. Only couple issues 1) mobile signal is very poor ( we were on higher part of site, it seemed a bit better down the bottom) 2) main issue is for a "city" site the transport links could be better. Once you get to bus stop it's a really good service but you do have to walk about 10 to 15 mins to get to the bus stop.

Regular visitors

We visit several times a year as our son lives nearby. Always clean and well run. We liked the longer grass in the corners of the site. There was some noise from off grid campers out in the park but the club can't help that. Chef Phillipe does lovely food. Good bus service at the bottom of the hill.

Lovely site, but currently manned by very rude staff.

I have just stayed for just one night, having been to the site many times. However, this time I found the staff were very rude and unpleasant. I had a friend visit and apparently unlike so much other sites the barrier cards are programmed to just let one vehicle in, so guest cars cannot come through on the same card. They apparently issue two cards if you have an extra vehicle with you. I am not taking issue with this , that’s fine if that is how it works, and a clear polite explanation by staff is all that is required, however this was not the case. I don’t expect as a club member and paying guest to be spoken to in a rude and hostile manner, some people clearly don’t have the temperament suited to their job. Such a shame as it’s a lovely site marred by the rudeness of the staff.

Great site

We’ve just spent 5 nights here - our second visit. Chef Philippe is a great addition for morning pastries, amazing sausage rolls & pizzas. As always the wardens keep the place very clean & organised and are cheerful.

Love this site

We stay on this site quite a lot as our daughter lives in Brighton. The staff are so friendly and helpful, from the minute you walk into reception on arrival to leaving the site at the end of your stay. We always seem to get a wave from who ever is on reception. The site is so beautifully cared for and the toilet/shower blocks are incredibly clean, warm and the showers dont turn off after a few minutes! Always a bonus! The pitches are all well maintained and a good size. Chef Phillipe is definetly an added bonus to this site. Lovely food and now does Pizzas in the evening too. If you ever need any help there is always someone to assist you in a warm and friendly manner, which is great. Another bonus is that they have sorted the approach road to the site now, no more deep potholes. Definetly one of our favourite CAMC sites.

Great site, combines the peace of the country side with a short hop to a busy city.

My wife and I have visited this site many times and have never been disappointed. The staff are always welcoming and the facilities are clean and in good condition. Phillipe's coffee shop is a great bonus in the mornings, plus he also serves stone baked pizza in the evenings a couple of times a week. There are plenty of pitches to choose from, with a good mix of with/without awning or fully serviced. Two shower blocks are available and both have laundry rooms. Each one also has a drive over motorhome waste drain and water points for filling. It can be a little bit noisy when the local football team (Whitehawk F.C.) is playing at home, but it does mean with just a short walk you can watch a lower league (Non League Div One) football match. We would highly recommend you have a visit. B & V

A Very Convenient Location

We often stay at Brighton, there is always something to do throughout the year. Many rallies and events are schedules along the seafront, there is an excellent range of productions at the theatre Royal and other locations and the Amex Stadium as well as the Marina and an excellent bus service. You also have the sea on your doorstep. The site is obviously busy in the peak periods, but you can always find a pitch to suit and the location is outstanding. The facilities are good and well looked after and the re-surfaced access road is very welcome. Being in East Brighton Park makes it very quiet and you feel you are in the countryside, rather than in a city. The walks over the Downs are superb. Brighton is also well designed for bicycles. It is a site well worth trying and spending a few days.
