Charming, quiet site

The site, although some way out of Bourton -on - the - water is clean, tidy and quiet with very friendly staff and we enjoyed our overnight stay and would recommend it.

2 night stay

This is a great site for visiting the surrounding area. We were greeted with utmost respect upon arrival, I enquired wether we could be sited in a quiet spot and was put on a grass pitch that suited us just fine. We had a couple of very nice days stay. If your going to the Cotswolds, this is the place to stay.

So peaceful

Second visit to this site, tucked away just outside Bourton. There are no facilities but we are happy to use our van's excellent bathroom! Lovely walks locally, including the Slaughters and the Salperton Estate. The wardens are very helpful and the office/shop sells a few items such as eggs etc. As this site is only an hour from home we intend to use it for weekends away as it is so lovely.

Fantastic little site - don't let the lack of facilities put you off!

What an absolute gem of a site. There are no toilet/ shower facilities but that was not an issue (we are a family of four) and we simply used our on-board facilities! In fact, the lack of facilities probably helped with the site being that little bit quieter as you don't see the greater traffic of members going to and from the facilities. There's a fantastic little dog walk (pity that some members chose to allow their dogs to foul others pitches) and you can extend your walk further to the disused railway line. In fact, there's lots of history around this site as it used to be a railway station. The site was well managed and kept clean and tidy. There is easy access into Bourton and it's a great base for touring the Cotswolds. If you can find it, go and try the Upton Smokehouse - lovely little farm shop that sells a lot of it's own produce including smoked salt and pepper. Would certainly return here again.

Fantastic gem of a site

We stayed here for a few days during August and are very glad we did. It's a beautiful little site and very handy for touring the Cotswolds. It doesn't have toilet/shower facilities, but we prefer this as we use our caravan's anyway. Bob and Kate are two of the nicest people you could meet, charming, friendly and ultra helpful. In fact when I was a bit short of BBQ stuff, they sold me some of their own, rather than me having to trail back into Bourton again. The site is immaculate, both it and Bob and Kate are a real asset to the club. We shall look forward to our next visit.

Pleasant but!

Pleasant site nice country views clean and tidy but too far from any town without a car. Also not safe for bikes. First time I have stayed at a CC site with no toilet block, seems strange why at least a simple toilet facility cannot be provided.

Lovely site

A quiet little site that is probably not for kids as it has no toilet block, play area etc. Having said that its in a fantastic location, is nice and peaceful and has some lovely walks from its door. We used it as a one night stop over and were a bit sad we were not able to stay for longer. Also has a brilliant dog walker area for those of us who take our four legged friends with us.
