Had a 10 night stay on this really lovely peaceful site. The lady & gentleman wardens were fantastic & made the atmosphere very friendly. The site was spotless the whole time we stayed. They really worked hard to keep the site tidy. Great hardstanding pitches. The walking from the site is brill, straight into the woods. A sturdy pair of walking boots is helpful as some of the walking is steep. Loads of wildlife, we saw deer, a mouse, frog, squirrels, robins, pheasants, rabbits, ducks, goosanders, herons & fish. Tv signal a bit rubbish, but no biggy really as it was great to read my kindle. If you want a site to get away from it all this is the site for you. So quiet & peaceful we didn’t want to come home.
