2 nights in this beautiful location in the Yorkshire Dales. Very friendly staff, given choice of any pitch as they weren't busy. Facilities very clean. Despite the weather, staff were out cleaning wet leaves off the roads & paths to help walking & driving. Super walk down to the side of the river Wharfe on gritty paths & The Strid tearoom comes highly recommended and also is very dog friendly.....dogs get their biscuits first!!!! Only caution would be the arch at Bolton Priory on the way in from the main road. It is mentioned on the C & MC site details but is very tight & you need wing mirrors out to check clearance ( only a couple of inches either side for a standard width motorhome!! ). Super base for an off season break but imagine it would be a completely different atmosphere when it's busier. No children with us so can't comment on suitability for families.
