We booked a stay last year at halloween, and it was a big mistake. We try to leave child friendly sites to families, and book those we hope will be quiet. Last year was a nightmare for us, this year it was absolutely perfect. Sitting within the estate of the Abbey, there are no parking fee's, and you can walk to and from the Abbey, taking the well maintained paths on either side of the river, and it is stunning. As I have said before, it is a typical Club site, and at the 'top of the tree' for upkeep and beauty. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they should be proud of their work, as the site is lovely. We would re-visit, it is superb.
