I booked this site just to get away for the weekend. The site is easy enough to find if you've researched the location before you set off. The post code in a sat nav stops about 2 miles from the site. We received a very warm welcome from the warden and he was very helpful, advising on available pitches. As soon as we'd set up my daughter discovered she had no phone signal. I haven't been able to find any reference to this anywhere in the literature or other reviews but please beware that the signal seems to drop just outside the site. It is possible to get 1 bar on O2 and vodafone at the dog walk but other than that you're in a black spot. The site itself is small, neat and very well maintained. It's in trees so there isn't a lot of direct sunshine, but the pitches are separated by wide-ish roads so you can get some sun. Toilet block is centrally located so easily accessed from any pitch. It is clean, warm and well cared for. I would return to this site if there was a mobile phone signal but unfortunately can't be without my phone so will have to find another site next time.
