The most peaceful site we have been to! Lots of gorgeous walking to be done. Although our dog was grumpy at having to be on the lead for some of it. The wardens are the friendliest and most accommodating that we have met so far. Pitches to suit everyone. Full sun or shaded and lots of wildlife visiting. We had rabbits, pheasant, squirrels and ducks. Can’t wait to return. A word of advice. Keep bags etc upright or closed. We had our front screen covers laying down for a while when we packed up to leave. The string is broken so bag is always loosely open. A tiny baby rabbit must have crawled in. We discovered it unharmed, luckily, after a 5 hour journey home. Our local vets took it in to build it up before eventually releasing in our local countryside. Happy ending but lesson to learn!
