This site is a great location for Bolton Abbey & the surrounding area. There isn’t a dedicated dog walking area so you have to keep your dog on s lead until you can walk to an official walk. There is a little shop on site but it doesn’t sell newspapers. There is no phone signal or 3/4G, not even car radio signal! This is a very busy area to be aware you need to book early. The roads to the site are single carriage way so there is a lot of manoeuvring required. Worst of all there is a TINY arch you need to navigate through on the road into the site which is also single carriage. I have a very wide unit & only got through with inches to spare- not looking forward to going back through there. The pitches are very close together on this site so not much space for manoeuvring a large unit into place. Only marked down due to access road & small pitches. Site staff friendly.
