I can’t see how you can blame the warden when you chose the pitch. Trust doesn’t come into it.

So you booked late, arrived late then had only 3 pitches to chose from, you chose one, couldn't get level, didn't bother to find out if the other two were level and are now complaining that the warden failed you !!! I too would be disappointed, in myself.

If you were given the choice of 3 pitches, did you not look at each one of them first, or did you just pick one while you were in the office?  If so, once you found out the pitch wasn't level, why didn't you check out the other 2 pitches?  It's not a big site, so would have been easy to do.  Blaming the warden is a bit rich IMHO, when you chose the pitch yourself, and has nothing to do with "trust".

Still, lesson learnt hopefully, next time, have a look at all available pitches first, then choose what's best for you.

A bit poor to blame the wardens,if you chose the pitch then the fault lies with you.Did you think to ask before you pitched up? Possibly if you had explained at the outset that you had a problem with uneven pitches the warden could have given you advice about where to park. During our stay we noticed people moving pitch once another one was free, shame you could possibly have moved to something more suited to your outfit.

I have just found that there have been replies to my review. 

I didn't explain clearly. At reception I was asked to choose my pitch before leaving reception. Normally we are told to find a pitch then return and tell the wardens which one we are on. The warden had the opportunity to tell me that it is impossible to get level on that pitch.
